Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during holiday coverage period
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required for Emergency Room practice
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Ability to work night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) for the duration of the 16-week assignment, including holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Experience with high-acuity and trauma patient populations
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems commonly used in acute care environments
