Travel RN – Mother Baby / Postpartum (Night Shift)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with catching babies during deliveries, including cesarean section (CS) and spontaneous vaginal delivery (SVD)
• Provide routine postpartum care to mother-baby couplets at a 1:3 ratio
• Perform circumcisions and care for GYN post-operative patients as assigned
• Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• Collaborate with a team-oriented unit focused on patient experience and mutual support

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Texas (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum/Mother Baby nursing
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Experience catching babies (CS and SVD) is required — candidates without this experience will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with GYN post-operative patient care
• Familiarity with CPN and/or Meditech EMR platforms
• Strong patient-centered approach with a team-player mindset
