Travel Registered Nurse – Oncology ICU (BMT ICU)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Rotating Weekends | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide total care for critically ill patients in a 10-bed Oncology ICU setting, maintaining a 2:1 patient ratio
• Titrate drips and manage patients on ventilators, BiPAP, CRRT, A-lines, and IV pumps
• Perform and assist with procedures including dressing changes, trach care, and turning of critically ill patients
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Float to all ICUs, PCU, and BMT units as needed based on census
• Report at 0645, clock in/out for lunch, and maintain professional rapport with physicians and interdisciplinary team

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact eligibility)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of strong ICU experience, including titrating drips and caring for ventilated patients
• Experience managing BiPAP patients

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CRRT experience
• Transplant experience (Kidney, Pancreas, or Liver)
• Compassionate, team-oriented personality with strong communication skills and good rapport with physicians
