Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: September 21, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 5-procedure-room endoscopy unit maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, Bronchoscopy, and EBUS
- Operate and document within the Meditech EMR system
- Perform endoscope reprocessing in accordance with unit protocols
- Collaborate with a team of RNs and endoscopy technicians on the day shift
- Participate in on-call rotation, with approximately 4–7 call days expected per month
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy/GI nursing experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in Colonoscopy and EGD
- Demonstrated proficiency in ERCP and EUS
- Experience with ION, Bronchoscopy, and EBUS
- Competency in endoscope reprocessing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Prior travel nursing experience in an endoscopy or GI setting
- Familiarity with a high-volume, procedure-focused unit environment
