Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group behavioral support to students in a school setting
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect accurate data on student behaviors, goals, and progress to monitor outcomes
• Support students in developing appropriate communication, social, academic, and adaptive skills using evidence-based strategies and positive reinforcement
• Assist with implementation of IEP-related behavioral supports and maintain professional documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, related-service providers, and families; follow all school policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to implement behavior-analytic strategies under BCBA supervision
• Ability to lift, carry, or assist students with mobility needs as required
• Ability to participate in behavior management techniques, including de-escalation or crisis intervention when necessary

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental, behavioral, or educational support needs, particularly in a school or behavioral setting
• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and experience implementing behavior intervention plans
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with school teams, parents, and related-service providers
• Ability to remain patient, calm, and professional in challenging situations
