Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, reporting changes in patient condition promptly
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility policies and scope of practice
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient safety and quality outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active LVN or LPN license in good standing (Louisiana license or compact eligibility required)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a Telemetry or Med Surg setting
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a hospital environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring equipment and cardiac rhythms
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
