Imaging Support Tech – IR/Special Procedures (Vascular IR / Hybrid OR)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 5x8s or 4x10s | 7:30–16:00 | Rotating call every 4th week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Pull inventory and order cases in Epic prior to procedures
• Run the table and controls during vascular IR and Hybrid OR cases
• Perform 3D spins and work with fusion technology; handle filming and post-processing of images throughout the procedure
• Document and add inventory used during cases using HI-IQ
• Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, OR team, and other procedural team members, maintaining active engagement throughout the full case workflow
• Utilize a C-arm during downtime to support simple surgical cases alongside X-ray staff, including procedures such as Impellas and cystos

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• ARRT certification required
• Virginia state license required (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date — eligible for temporary license if licensed in another state; otherwise estimated processing time is approximately 8 weeks)
• Epic experience required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong vascular/IR experience with comfort participating in the full case workflow, not solely equipment operation
• Familiarity with Hybrid OR procedures
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Experience with C-arm use in surgical support settings
