Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Rotating Weekends | Projected Start: October 19, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 22-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit with a maximum patient ratio of 6:1
- Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, and central line maintenance
- Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation in the EMR (Meditech)
- Communicate effectively with all members of the care team to support patient-centered outcomes
- Care for medical/surgical and orthopedic patients across assigned shifts
- Float to med/surg units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license required
- Minimum 2+ years of acute med/surg experience within the last year
- Demonstrated ability to manage 4–6 patients simultaneously
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2+ years of orthopedic nursing experience
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
- Friendly, positive, patient-centered, and team-focused personality
