Radiology/Cardiology Tech – X-ray/Rad Tech

Contract | Night Shift | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday | 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray and radiology/cardiology studies in accordance with facility protocols
• Operate and maintain radiologic and cardiology imaging equipment safely and effectively
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality for diagnostic interpretation
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with facility standards
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control policies at all times
• Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations, with an acceptable passing score

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio state license (or compact license) in hand at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Radiology/Cardiology (X-ray/Rad Tech specialty)
• All required certifications must be active with nothing pending
• One supervisory reference (manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director) in the applicable specialty required for submission
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) required within 12 months of start date, updated annually
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel contract experience in a radiology or cardiology setting
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessment processes
• Experience working within a large health system environment
