Radiology Technologist – X-Ray / Diagnostic Imaging

Lubbock, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:00–16:00) | No weekends required | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform routine and complex X-ray examinations in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Assist with fluoroscopy procedures as needed
• May image up to 30 patients per day within a diagnostic radiology setting
• Float between units within the facility as operationally required
• Deliver strong patient care and maintain clear communication with clinical staff and patients throughout the imaging process
• Operate within a Level II Trauma Center, adhering to all applicable protocols and standards

Required Qualifications

• Valid Texas X-Ray Technologist license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray / Radiology Technologist
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care environment is required
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• All time-off requests and scheduling needs must be submitted upfront at the time of submittal; post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or high-volume diagnostic radiology department
• Familiarity with fluoroscopy assistance procedures
• Demonstrated ability to manage high patient volumes while maintaining quality and safety standards
