Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level II Nursery setting, including neonates at 29–34 weeks gestational age
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 in accordance with unit standards
• Float to well baby unit within scope of practice to meet facility needs, in rotation with staff and per facility floating policies
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records system
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling and work some holidays as required by facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (pending license may be considered)
• Minimum 1 year of NICU Level II experience; first-time travelers not accepted for this role
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for neonates at 29–34 weeks gestational age in a Level II Nursery environment
• Familiarity with well baby nursing care to support float requirements
• Experience with Relias or Net Learning compliance module platforms
