Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with cardiac catheterizations, peripheral angiograms, and neuro-intervention procedures across 2 cath labs and 1 hybrid room
• Support a variety of patient diagnoses including STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, stroke, line placement, drain placement, and loop recorder procedures
• Operate and monitor Philips imaging and monitoring equipment, including a biplane lab configuration
• Document and manage patient records using Epic EMR and McKesson lab systems
• Participate in on-call coverage, including 2–3 weeknights per week, every 3rd weekend, and 2–3 holidays per year
• Work within a 2-lab, 1-hybrid-room environment averaging approximately 5 cases per day with a 6-bed recovery area

Required Qualifications

• Recent hands-on experience with heart catheterizations and peripheral catheterizations
• Active Illinois Cath Lab Technologist license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
• Current BLS certification required
• Must be able to comply with a drug-free workplace policy and produce a negative drug screen
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard contract rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Philips imaging and monitoring equipment
• Familiarity with McKesson lab information systems
• Exposure to biplane lab environments and neuro-intervention procedures
