Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Rotating on-call required (approximately 3–4 shifts per month) | Holiday availability required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care within an Interventional Radiology setting across assigned shifts
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including coverage at an additional nearby facility location
- Respond to call-back assignments within 30 minutes with a minimum 2-hour call-back commitment
- Maintain holiday availability as required by the department
- Complete unit orientation during the first full week of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Minimum 2–5 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience
- Must not be a new graduate; prior clinical experience is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 5 or more years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience
- Experience working with IR supervisors and familiarity with IR-specific skills and procedures
