Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care in a Medical/Surgical setting
• Perform thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Function independently while demonstrating the ability to act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization

Required Qualifications

• Active Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license eligible for Maine endorsement
• Strong assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills
• Ability to function independently in a Medical/Surgical environment
• Ability to respond rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical/Surgical inpatient setting
• Familiarity with Maine State nursing standards and practices
