Key Responsibilities
- Provide supervisory oversight of nursing operations during overnight hours
- Serve as the administrative and clinical resource for nursing staff across the facility during the night shift
- Coordinate patient care activities, staffing, and bed management throughout the shift
- Respond to and manage clinical emergencies, including neonatal and pediatric situations as needed
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Proof of negative TB screening within 12 months of contract start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Prior experience in a house supervisor or charge nurse role
- Experience managing clinical operations across multiple units or departments
