Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend | 19:00–07:00

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services primarily within the Labor & Delivery (L&D) setting, with assignments also covering NICU, PICU, and Pediatrics based on facility need
• Adapt to unit assignments upon arrival; home unit (NICU, PICU, or Peds) will be designated at the facility and may shift based on census and operational needs
• Float as required within the facility across PICU, NICU, and Peds specialties, and potentially to an affiliate hospital location
• Candidate must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays as part of scheduling expectations

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana State Respiratory Therapy License required prior to start date; Indiana temporary license accepted provided permanent license application has been submitted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, NRP (NRP required for those placed in L&D; may be obtained upon offer if not already held)
• Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in PICU required; Children's Hospital experience within the last 3 years required
• L&D experience required, as primary placement will be in L&D
• NICU or PICU experience required; open to travelers whose experience includes a Level 1 adult facility
• First-time travelers accepted; candidate must be comfortable with and aware of the every other weekend requirement prior to submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• Experience floating across multiple pediatric specialty units (NICU, PICU, Peds)
• Familiarity with children's hospital environments and multi-unit respiratory therapy workflows
