Travel Cath Lab Tech – Cardiac Cath Lab

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM with call | Expected 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and monitor Cath Lab and/or EP procedures including diagnostic, PCI, Rotoblator, laser atherectomies, ECMO, TAVR, MitraClips, Watchman, IVUS, FFR, complex PCI, CTO, Shockwave, and Penumbra cases
• Assist with EP Lab procedures including EP studies, pacemakers, ICD implants, ablations, Micra pacemakers, loop recorders, and laser lead extractions
• Operate and maintain GE and Philips X-ray systems, Volcano IVUS/FFR equipment, and Merge Hemo documentation systems
• Maintain a 1:3 patient-to-staff ratio across 11 procedure rooms (5 Cath, 4 EP, 2 Hybrid OR)
• Float to prep and recovery areas as needed per unit floating policy
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications and adhere to all unit-specific guidelines and dress code requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP Lab experience
• Active RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) certification required
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency in scrubbing and monitoring Cath Lab and/or EP procedures
• Experience with Merge Hemo and Meditech documentation systems preferred but expected

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced Cath Lab procedures such as TAVR, ECMO, MitraClips, Watchman, and complex PCI/CTO
• Familiarity with EP procedures including laser lead extractions and Micra pacemaker implants
• Experience with GE and Philips X-ray systems and Volcano IVUS/FFR technology
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to integrate quickly into an experienced, high-volume cardiac team
