Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts with On-Call Requirement
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
- Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the care team
- Support postpartum patients and newborns, providing education and hands-on care
- Participate in on-call coverage as required by the unit schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona or compact eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in Labor & Delivery or LDRP nursing
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and fulfill on-call obligations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a low-volume or critical access hospital setting
- Familiarity with managing a broad scope of LDRP patient needs independently
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
