Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts per week | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• May be assigned to work across multiple facility locations within the area
• Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective treatment
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• One professional reference required at submission (within the last 12 months from a direct supervisor or charge nurse); two references required to start
• Must not have previously worked at this facility as a permanent employee
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the same terms as traveling candidates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech charting system preferred
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, particularly for candidates applying as part of a travel pair
