Cath Lab / EP Technologist – Heart and Vascular

Hickory, NC | Cath Lab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts) | On-call rotation expected every third week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization and/or Electrophysiology (EP) lab setting
• Assist with interventional radiology, vascular, cardiac cath, or EP procedures as assigned
• Maintain proficiency in applicable imaging and cardiovascular technology modalities
• Participate in an on-call rotation, approximately every third week
• Float within the hospital as needed based on departmental requirements

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology
• Current ARRT or RCIS registration required
• BLS certification required — must be through the American Heart Association (AHA); if current certification is from another provider, AHA certification must be obtained within three months of start date
• ACLS certification required within one year of start date
• Minimum 1 year of experience and demonstrated proficiency in at least one of the following: Interventional Radiology, Vascular, Cardiac Cath, or EP
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple modalities (Interventional Radiology, Vascular, Cardiac Cath, and/or EP)
• Familiarity with AHA-based certification standards for BLS and ACLS
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment
