Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts, 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM (Monday–Friday) | On-call required: 1 weekend of call per 4 weeks; holiday call may be required

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate complex cardiac cases including CABG, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, valve procedures, ascending/descending repairs, and heart and lung transplants
• Circulate thoracic and vascular cases as needed
• Scrub General OR cases including Surgical Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic/Biliary MIS (da Vinci robotic), Plastics, Endocrine, and Bariatric procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records
• Wear and maintain a radiation badge at all times during applicable procedures (provided by agency)
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as required during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR/General OR RN experience required; first-time CVOR travelers considered only with 5+ years of experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state compact license must be in hand at start of contract
• BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; approvals are based on departmental needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with heart and lung transplant cases strongly preferred
• Proficiency with da Vinci robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, or Magnet-designated hospital
