Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in a 20-bed PICU with a 1:2 or 1:1 patient ratio
- Operate and monitor equipment including Philips monitors, Alaris and Medfusion IV pumps
- Perform and assist with conscious sedation procedures
- Manage care of patients in respiratory failure, including ETT and HFOV
- Perform CT placement and provide central line maintenance and care
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid for practice in Colorado
- Minimum 1 year of current PICU RN experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Current PALS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Post-operative cardiac experience
- Venous puncture skills
- Flexible, collaborative, and team-oriented work style
