Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage ventilated patients and perform tracheostomy management — experience in both areas is required
• Utilize Meditech for electronic charting and documentation
• Float to Med/Surg unit as needed based on staffing requirements
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted
• ACLS certification required
• BCLS (BLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry or relevant RN experience
• Demonstrated experience with ventilated patients and tracheostomy management
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rates; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech charting system
• Experience floating between Telemetry and Med/Surg units
• Familiarity with acute care hospital environments
