Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting during night shift hours
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as assessed during orientation
• Administer and manage medications safely, with proficiency evaluated via safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• Document and track hours worked using the designated time-management platform
• Maintain compliance with all annual hands-on competency and module requirements as directed by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission
• NIHSS certification — must be willing to obtain prior to start date
• Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months; Charge RN references are accepted
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable score (maximum of 2 attempts permitted)
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility location (combined permanent experience is acceptable)
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
