Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients across inpatient medical and surgical populations
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver comprehensive patient care
• Monitor patient conditions, document findings accurately, and communicate changes to the care team in a timely manner
• Adhere to facility protocols, Joint Commission standards, and evidence-based nursing practices

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or Medical Surgical setting
• Familiarity with Joint Commission quality standards and core measures
• Experience in a hospital environment recognized for patient satisfaction and quality improvement initiatives
