Travel Physical Therapist – Inpatient Physical Medicine

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Rotating Weekends | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and treatments for inpatient rehab patients, including neurological and orthopedic populations
• Provide physical therapy services across acute care settings including orthopedics, telemetry, and ICU
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy
• Adhere to facility dress code, attendance, and unit-specific guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required — temporary licenses are not accepted
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital and/or inpatient rehab experience
• Inpatient rehab and/or acute hospital experience is required — candidates without this background will not be considered
• Critical care experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2–3 years of experience in inpatient rehab and/or acute hospital settings
• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
• Previous experience at an HCA-affiliated facility
