Registered Nurse – Med/Surg / PCU / Telemetry (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU/Med-Surg/Telemetry setting on night shift
• Perform charge nurse duties as needed, requiring the ability to work independently
• Participate in every other weekend rotation
• Float to other units (e.g., Emergency Department, Maternal/Child Health) based on facility need
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care within a small critical access hospital environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont or compact state eligibility
• Experience in Med/Surg, PCU, or Telemetry nursing
• Ability to work independently and assume charge nurse responsibilities
• Flexibility to float to other units including ED and Maternal/Child Health

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a critical access or rural hospital setting
• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation experience
• Charge nurse or leadership experience in an acute care environment
