Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to a high-volume patient population of all ages in a fast-paced EC environment seeing approximately 170 patients per day
• Deliver care within a Level 1 stroke and cardiac center and a Level III trauma facility functioning at a Level II capacity
• Utilize EPIC for all clinical documentation and charting
• Float between like units within skill set as needed — floating is required
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required, particularly for first-time travelers
• Must commit to all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Candidates with a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume emergency department or trauma setting
• Familiarity with stroke and cardiac emergency protocols
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted location
