Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shifts (6:00 AM–6:00 PM and 8:00 AM–8:00 PM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and state practice acts
• Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; develop and execute individualized patient plans of care in collaboration with physicians and clinic policy, including patient and family instruction
• Document patient care activities according to established standards of care
• Apply critical thinking to support patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command
• Participate in department performance improvement activities, unit practice decisions, peer review, and the professional nursing continuum process

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN Licensure
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications — AHA Provider level only
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC or TNS certification required
• Education verification required prior to start
• Must be fully cleared to begin the contract before start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute care or high-acuity emergency room setting
• Experience with shared governance or unit-based performance improvement initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to provide clinical guidance and expertise across interdisciplinary teams
