Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients within a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
• Perform evaluative and therapeutic procedures under physician or accepted healthcare provider orders, observing all precautions, indications, and contraindications
• Evaluate patients and establish individualized therapeutic plans of care, including short- and long-term goals
• Partner with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to maximize functional abilities and independence
• Treat patients in accordance with department protocols and established standards of care

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the State of Maine required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend written instructions in English
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in high-stress situations
• Responsible, supportive team player

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy preferred
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting
