Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room environment, including cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and transplant procedures
• Perform scrub duties as required during surgical cases
• Support overnight staffing needs on a 24/7 basis, including weekends and holidays
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license — compact or Ohio state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac, vascular, and transplant settings
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR-specific experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Scrub experience required
• Proficiency in EPIC required
• Locals are welcome and accepted
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across general OR, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant specialties
• Familiarity with high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environments
• Demonstrated flexibility with scheduling across nights, weekends, and holidays
