Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting with an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2
• Manage patients requiring ventilator support, chest tubes, central venous lines (CVL), and external ventricular drains (EVDs)
• Care for post-operative cardiovascular surgery and neurosurgery patients
• Perform and interpret laboratory results to guide clinical decision-making
• Float between units or sister facilities as needed to support staffing requirements
• Fulfill weekend shift commitments to meet unit scheduling needs (6 weekend shifts expected)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required
• Experience with ICU, cardiovascular surgery, trauma, ventilators, chest tubes, CVL, EVDs, and neurosurgery patients
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center environment
• Background in neurosurgery or cardiovascular surgery nursing
• Familiarity with EVD management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
