Aberdeen, WA | Medical/Surgical
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 18:45–07:15 | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend off | Opportunity to pick up extra shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Float to other departments on a rotational basis as needed
- Collaborate as an active team player within a dynamic nursing team
- Utilize electronic medical records; Meditech experience is helpful
Required Qualifications
- Current Washington State RN license or a Multistate/Compact RN license (accepted with required verifications)
- Approved 6-hour suicide prevention training required for licensure verification
- Verification of demographics through Nursys required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Medical/Surgical inpatient setting
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
- Comfort and flexibility with floating to multiple departments
