Travel RN – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Staffing Pool)

Contract | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of care than a general medical-surgical floor
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate care as clinically appropriate

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or a compact state license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent IMC, PCU, or Stepdown nursing experience
• Ability to work night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity or Level II trauma center environment
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in a stepdown setting
• Prior travel nursing experience
