Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient information accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Complete Ohio fingerprinting requirements promptly upon contract signing

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN compact or Ohio state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program required
• Minimum of 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references)
• Candidates who are former employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months to be eligible
• Current employees of Ohio State University hospital locations are not eligible for travel assignments at those facilities
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room or high-acuity setting
• Familiarity with Ohio credentialing and fingerprinting compliance processes
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows
