Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (late days included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide scrub and/or circulating support across a high-volume Same Day Surgery unit
• Assist with a broad range of surgical cases including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Total Joints, Gynecology, ENT, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology, and Bariatrics
• Support endoscopic procedures including EGD, PEG Tube Placement/Exchange, and laparoscopic-assisted cases
• Assist with ENT procedures such as Tonsillectomy/Adenoidectomy, Septoplasty/Rhinoplasty, Mastoidectomy/Tympanoplasty/Stapedectomy, and Tracheostomy
• Support bariatric procedures including Gastric Bypass, Gastric Sleeve, and Laparoscopic Assisted Cases
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to all surgical safety and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist certification (CST) or equivalent OR Tech credential required
• Hands-on experience in a General OR setting
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing — candidates should be prepared to act urgently, as delays may impact start date
• Candidates currently outside Ohio but within driving distance will be required to travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location as soon as possible after booking
• Must provide 2 professional references; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (e.g., supervisor); Charge RN acceptable as a second reference; coworker references are not accepted
• Former employees of the hiring facility must have been separated for at least 6 months to be eligible; current employees of any affiliated Ohio location are not eligible for a travel assignment
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple surgical specialties, particularly Orthopedics/Spine, Bariatrics, and ENT
• Familiarity with laparoscopic and endoscopic-assisted procedures
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
