Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from illness or injury
• Provide patient care through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes
• Support patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to patient care and recovery

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with post-hospital, short-term rehabilitation, or long-term care populations
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance processes
• Bilingual skills a plus
