• Travel, 13-week assignment, Days shift, Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care to adult patients in a medical surgical unit.
• Manage a patient load with a typical ratio of 6:1, utilizing teamwork strategies.
• Document patient information accurately using the Meditech system.
• Float to inpatient units, including intensive care, emergency department, and other designated areas as needed.
• Participate in shift duties, including bedside procedures when applicable, and adhere to hospital policies.
• Maintain a positive attitude, communicate effectively with team members, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Kentucky.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on days, with availability to work 4 weekend shifts per schedule.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a medical surgical unit.
• Experience with Meditech or equivalent documentation systems.
• Ability to perform bedside procedures when necessary.
