Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), working three days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in the Intermediate Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown units.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient conditions, utilizing telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in electronic medical records.
• Float as needed to other inpatient areas, including emergency department hold areas, to ensure appropriate coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina or ability to obtain licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute inpatient care experience.
• Certification in telemetry monitoring.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse experience.
• Experience in medical/step-down units or ICU.
• Strong patient-centered communication skills and compassionate demeanor.
