Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and expert nursing care to women and newborns in the Labor and Delivery (L&D), Postpartum, and Newborn units.
• Manage a variety of patient care activities including labor support, neonatal resuscitation, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
• Utilize Epic and Philips Intellispace electronic medical records for documentation.
• Assist with unit procedures such as IV starts, lab draws, and epidural management.
• Participate in call shifts, holiday coverage, and float to other units as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience, including LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) procedures.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications; ACLS and PALS (or PEARS) preferred.
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records within the past 2 years.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.
• Valid RN license.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neonatal resuscitation and newborn medication administration.
• Experience working in a community hospital environment without on-site NICU.
• Ability to work independently across all aspects of LDRP care.
• Flexibility to float and assist with med/surg overflow.
