• Full-time, night shifts (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients during night shifts.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including managing dysrhythmias and using rapid response teams.
• Administer oxygen therapy via nasal cannula, face masks, and portable tanks, ensuring proper airway management.
• Follow strict isolation precautions and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record system.
• Respond to patient needs, including observation, assessments, and coordination of care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Support a variety of diagnoses, such as respiratory issues, diabetes, surgical recovery, psychiatric observation, and end-of-life care.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias and use rapid response teams.
• Knowledge of airway management including oxygen delivery equipment.
• Able to work night shifts and float as needed across multiple facilities.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse experience.
• Experience in respiratory conditions, surgical patient care, or hospice/end-of-life care.
• Familiarity with peripheral line care and isolation procedures.
