• Full-time, Days Shift, 1 shift per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations of various body parts for interpretation by radiologists.
• Demonstrate professional judgment and apply principles of radiation protection during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and departmental files.
• Contribute to the departmental quality assurance program and pursue continuing education.
• Assist in ultrasound invasive procedures and collaborate with referring physicians.
• Ensure proper care of ultrasound equipment and transducers, and maintain a clean work area.
• Support departmental accreditation efforts and participate in meetings and training activities.

Required Qualifications

• Current ARDMS certification in at least one modality (e.g., Abdomen, OB/GYN, RVT, RDCS).
• Ability to perform all diagnostic ultrasound exams related to assigned modalities.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of ultrasound procedures, patient care, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification in multiple ARDMS modalities (two or three categories).
• Experience with ultrasound in both general and vascular or cardiac imaging.
• Willingness to learn new imaging modalities and pursue advanced certifications.
