iDEAL HIRE is hiring a new Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - Skilled Nursing / Rehab for our client, a modern Skilled Nursing Facility. This is a Permanent role, working in Phoenix, AZ, offering a pay rate of $35/hr.

Role Details

• Compensation: $35.00 per hour

• Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision

• Duration: Permanent (Direct Hire preferred; Contract candidates considered)

• Location: Phoenix, AZ 85037

What You'll Be Doing

• Administer therapeutic treatment programs with specific goals tailored to resident capacity and tolerance under the direction of a physician.

• Assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises as outlined in treatment plans developed with the Occupational Therapist.

• Utilize sound clinical reasoning during the implementation and monitoring of resident progress.

• Instruct residents, patients, and families in home programs, basic living skills, and the proper use of adaptive equipment.

• Collaborate with nursing and therapy departments to provide high-quality, person-centered care in a modern, 54-bed facility.

• Maintain accurate electronic documentation using Net Health and PCC EMR systems.

• Promote a positive and supportive environment for residents through active participation in facility culture and team collaboration.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) program.

• Licensure: Current COTA license in the state of Arizona.

• Certification: Current CPR certification is required.

• Experience: Six months of experience in a long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing environment is preferred.

• Skills: Strong interpersonal excellence, proficiency with EMR systems, and the ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality.
