Summary
iDEAL HIRE is hiring a new Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - Skilled Nursing / Rehab for our client, a modern Skilled Nursing Facility. This is a Permanent role, working in Phoenix, AZ, offering a pay rate of $35/hr.

What You'll Be Doing

Administer therapeutic treatment programs with specific goals tailored to resident capacity and tolerance under the direction of a physician.

Assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises as outlined in treatment plans developed with the Occupational Therapist.

Utilize sound clinical reasoning during the implementation and monitoring of resident progress.

Instruct residents, patients, and families in home programs, basic living skills, and the proper use of adaptive equipment.

Collaborate with nursing and therapy departments to provide high-quality, person-centered care in a modern, 54-bed facility.

Maintain accurate electronic documentation using Net Health and PCC EMR systems.

Promote a positive and supportive environment for residents through active participation in facility culture and team collaboration.
What We're Looking For

Education: Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) program.

Licensure: Current COTA license in the state of Arizona.

Certification: Current CPR certification is required.

Experience: Six months of experience in a long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing environment is preferred.

Skills: Strong interpersonal excellence, proficiency with EMR systems, and the ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality.
