Full-time, days shift, 5 days per week, 8.5 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, and undressing.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor residents’ health status.
• Support residents with mobility, transfer, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques and equipment.
• Provide psychosocial support and foster a positive environment during meals and activities.
• Handle linens, soiled clothing, and supplies according to facility protocols.
• Ensure documentation of resident care and behaviors in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Follow infection control procedures, including proper hand hygiene and PPE use.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program approved by the state.
• Valid certification/license as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Basic understanding of healthcare documentation and using electronic medical records.
• Ability to operate and handle healthcare tools and supplies safely.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Knowledge of resident care protocols and safety procedures.
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
