Full-time, days shift, 5 days per week, 8.5 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, and undressing.
- Take and record vital signs and monitor residents’ health status.
- Support residents with mobility, transfer, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques and equipment.
- Provide psychosocial support and foster a positive environment during meals and activities.
- Handle linens, soiled clothing, and supplies according to facility protocols.
- Ensure documentation of resident care and behaviors in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Follow infection control procedures, including proper hand hygiene and PPE use.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program approved by the state.
- Valid certification/license as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Basic understanding of healthcare documentation and using electronic medical records.
- Ability to operate and handle healthcare tools and supplies safely.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Knowledge of resident care protocols and safety procedures.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
