Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Contract, 4x12-hour rotating shifts (day/night), Night or Day shifts based on facility needs, 26 or 13-week assignments, Travel assignments only
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a long-term care/senior nursing facility setting
- Adhere to all clinical and safety protocols, including obtaining required certifications during orientation
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic charting systems (ECSP)
- Ensure compliance with state licensing and facility policies, including food worker certification and Hep B vaccination requirements
- Participate in on-call duties and work holiday coverage as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Alaska State Registered Nurse license (or pending license with approved criteria)
- Minimum one year LTC/SNF experience
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to obtain Alaska Food Worker Certification during orientation (small fee applicable)
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance for vehicle use (if applicable)
- Willing to work rotating shifts, including holidays, with 60 guaranteed hours biweekly
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience in LTC facilities preferred
- Epic electronic charting experience
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
