Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Dickson, TN
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Contract, Travel, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized critical care nursing for ICU patients in a hospital setting
• Monitor and document patient conditions using advanced equipment such as Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG
• Perform procedures including central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care and safety
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and documentation procedures using Meditech system
• Offer compassionate patient support and communicate effectively with patients and families

Required Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee
• ICU experience with strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to floating policies to overflow ICU units

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with hospital-specific protocols and technologies
• Previous experience in a high-acuity ICU environment
• Strong procedural skills and ability to manage multiple patients efficiently
