Key Responsibilities
- Proficiently scrub and circulate in both peripheral vascular IR and neurovascular IR procedures, including stent placements, angioplasty, embolizations, nephrostomies, IVC filters, thrombectomies, intracranial interventions, and vascular studies.
- Assist in the setup and operation of Siemens biplane and single-plane C-arm systems in a Level 1 trauma, stroke, and vascular interventional department.
- Provide patient care during procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and procedural protocols.
- Support on-call responsibilities, including weekend call-ins, with the ability to make up shifts as needed.
- Collaborate with the IR team to maintain a high standard of patient care and procedural efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of IR technologist experience.
- Proficiency in both peripheral and neurovascular IR procedures, including stent placements, angiograms, embolizations, and related interventions.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and ARRT registration.
- Must hold an active IR technologist license prior to start; temporary licenses may be available.
- Ability to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases, including complex procedures such as thrombectomies and intracranial interventions.
- Strong understanding of vascular and neurological interventional procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Siemens IR imaging systems, including biplane C-arms.
- Prior work in a Level 1 trauma or stroke center.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with flexibility for floating within the hospital.

Travel Compliance & Additional Details
- Travelers must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at graduation.
- Out-of-state residents need a 3-month/90-day break to reset eligibility; in-state residents require a 6-month/180-day break.
- Must work at least 2 major holidays per year.
- Floating within hospital or to nearby facilities is mandatory.
- Candidates must provide valid SSN, DOB, and current licenses prior to start.
- In-state residents are considered local and may be offered lower rates.
- No specific charting required; position located in Indianapolis, IN.
