Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Location
• Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 4 days per week, variable shifts including days and evenings (8, 10, or 12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide perioperative care during various surgical procedures in a Level 1 Trauma 18-bed Operating Room
• Circulate for a range of surgeries including Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EPIC system
• Assist with diverse surgical cases such as Trauma, Robotic, Laparoscopic, ENT, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Burns, Urology, Gynecology, and Transplant

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
• Experience in Level 1 trauma center settings
• Valid EPIC and BCLS certification
• Active or compact RN license in Ohio or a reciprocal state

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with ENT, GU, Plastics, or Burns surgeries
• Ability to work flexible shifts including days and evenings
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Additional Notes
• Shift schedule includes working 4 days per week with variable days and hours
• All candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting as soon as they sign the contract to ensure credentialing compliance
• RTO must be specified at submission and built into the contract
• Candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance are required to complete fingerprinting in Ohio; those farther may receive a mailed fingerprinting packet
• References, including at least one from a management role, are required; current employees are not eligible for travel roles at Ohio State University hospital locations
