Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries in a CVOR setting.
• Support surgical procedures including valve repairs, bypass surgeries, thoracic operations, and minimally invasive surgeries.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, maintain sterile environments, and assist with intraoperative equipment and procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately within hospital systems such as EPIC.
• Comply with travel and hospital policies, including rapid onboarding and adherence to specific scheduling and call requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Active NC or Compact RN license in hand at the time of start.
• BLS certification.
• Scrub and circulating experience in a CVOR environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR nursing experience.
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday.
• Willingness to work 4 days per week.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification.
• Additional scrub experience.
• Experience with advanced cardiovascular and thoracic procedures such as TAVR, Mitral Clip, and VATS.
