Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes.
- Perform bedside diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Review and maintain respiratory care plans for patients.
- Conduct patient evaluations and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Assist as a preceptor for students and new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.
- Current Ohio State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners.
- Certification in CPR.
- For Parkview Randallia location: ACLS and NRP certifications or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- For Community Hospital locations: ACLS and NRP certifications or ability to obtain within 6 months; PALS and Stabling certifications preferred but not required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Ability to be on call.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds.
